"Thank you very much for a really enjoyable day last Thursday. I learned a lot, enjoyed myself and met some nice people, and it doesn't get any better than that. (What is it about craftspeople?) It was a lovely sitting in your garden and you made us most welcome. Thank you sincerely and best wishes."

"A lovely day as always. I came home feeling really relaxed, with a happy smile on my face (but then I always do) and thinking 'I'm making progress at last'.

Many thanks for your kindness and much needed help. Just loved lunchtime too, the greengages have left my head dreaming about Provence and the gorgeous perfumes in the air when you wake up in the morning. I just loved it down there."

Looms and spinning wheels can be provided if you don’t have your own. All you need to bring is a notebook and pen! I sell Ashford spinning and weaving equipment as well as yarns, fibres, books and dyes. If you're not sure what you require I'm very happy to talk to you about it and advise.

Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day with my home-made scones and a light, home-cooked lunch for you to enjoy.  I can cater for vegetarian or other diet requests.

The workshops are relaxed, informal and friendly.

Keep your eye on my Shropshire Weavers Facebook page and Instagram.

My passion for creating beautiful textiles started many years ago. In 1988 I achieved a Diploma in Hand-loom Weaving, Spinning and Dyeing at Bradford University. Since then I have been teaching, demonstrating and giving talks about various aspects of textiles to both adults and children.
